Our Shackleford Banks tour gives you an up-close look at the beautiful wild ponies that call this island home. You can also enjoy shell hunting, fishing, or exploring the dunes and pony trails that cover this uninhabited island.
If you want a peaceful day on the beach away from everything, Bird Shoals may be the prefect spot for you.
Sugarloaf Island, which is visible from the Morehead City Waterfront, offers the chance to explore a small maritime forest
and the trails that lead to other parts of the island.
Our most unique island is Sand Dollar Island.
Two things make this island unique:
1. Its a sandbar and only appears at low tide, and;
2. The amount of sand dollars you find!
